If you are wondering how to go about training for your next 10km, marathon or ultra marathon, or have hit a plateau in your racing or training, then I can help you.
I have over 25 years of running experience from 10km to 100 mile races. I have represented GB and England eight times, won medals twice at the British 100km Championships and the British Trail Championships 2014. I have also won Leicestershire Country 1000m and 5000m championships, as well as orienteering championships.
I am a UK Athletics Run Leader, a qualified Sports Therapist, and also a member of the UKSCA with a foundation certificate in Strength and Conditioning. I have been coached by twice World 100km Champion Carolyn Hunter-Rowe.
Coaching is through the Accelerate Performance Centre where we develop bespoke training programmes and one to one sessions to help keep you on track. The Accelerate Training Program (ATP) is designed with one thing in mind – to help you achieve your potential with training and racing goals.

ATP Compilation: Lifestyle, available training time, and other commitments, all have to be balanced to provide stress free training and racing. Each ATP is written following an inital consultation.
Once the ATP is in place, contact is ongoing, to ensure focus remains in both the training and racing plan.
One to One Coaching Sessions: Sometimes you may just be looking for help with your own devised training plan, or you require help in a certain area. This is where one to one coaching sessions can help. Topics can include: goal setting, endurance development, increasing speed, periodisation planning, heart rate training, technique and SWOT Analysis. These one to one sessions can be arranged and booked at any time.
Trail Running and Mountain Marathon Navigation Training Sessions: As a summer Mountain Leader I can offer one to one or group navigation training sessions in the Peak District or an area of you choice.
